PLANNING DEPARTMENT MANAGER - Billet No. 34-2000-01
Job Description:
The Planning Department Manager is responsible for coordination of all activities and functions of the Planning Department.
The incumbent is authorized to maintain a liaison with all departments of the RSNF, Technical Advisor to the Saudi Navy and contractor personnel necessary to fulfill his duties and responsibilities.
The incumbent should be able to impart to PSNF designated personnel the unique characteristics of the position.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
Education:
Bachelor of Science or equivalent in a Mechanical/Marine Engineering discipline.
Experience:
Fifteen (15) years experience in a major shipyard engaged in ship building or repair with particular emphasis on maintenance and repair planning functions, such as planning and estimating, fund control, material support, engineering, ship work coordination or program management. Extensive knowledge in the technical aspects of ships and ship systems is mandatory, including at least five (5) years in management positions of increasing responsibility in the shipbuilding and repair industry.
Security Clearance:
U.S. secret security clearance level will need to be obtained
Salary range:
50,000 to 60,000 (exempt to IRS limitations)
