NAVAL TATICAL TEAM TRAINER (NTTT) DATA COMM. SPECIALIST -

SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Data Communications Specialist supports the Naval Tactical Team Trainer (NTTT) embedded in the Fleet Training Center.
The NTTT simulates the physical configuration of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces combatants.
The mission of the maintenance department, Fleet Training Center is to assure the operational readiness of the NTTT to support the assigned training objectives.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
Education:
BSEE / BSCE / BSCS (Simulation Course) or equivalent degree in an engineering related discipline.
Experience:
Five (5) years hands on experience with wide area networks, data communication protocols and network security:
• At least three (3) years experience in administration of VLANs, IEEE 802 or more
recent.
• In-depth knowledge of Data Communication Protocols (TCP/IP). Other internet relevant
protocols a plus, but not required.
• Experience in teleconferencing equipment administration
• In-depth knowledge of expanding communications networks to handle new requirements
• Qualified in Visual C++, experience in Visual Basic a plus, but not required
• Qualified in Windows NT or more recent operation systems
• DIS/HLA experience a plus, but not required. Must be willing and able to learn DIS/HLA
software on the job.
Note: Three (3) years of job related experience is deemed equivalent to one (1) year of formal schooling.
Security Clearance:
U.S. confidential security clearance level will need to be obtained
Salary range:
50,000 to 60,000 (exempt to IRS limitations)
