F-15 TSP
Alsalam Aircraft Company - currently has a contract with the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) to provide F-15 support. We provide Technical Support to all bases. Our task is to train, assist, and actively advise the RSAF in the accomplishment of Organizational and Intermediate Level maintenance. This training is accomplished using a combination of English language training (basic and technical terminology), formal classroom instruction and Structured On-The-Job-Training. The objective of training is to provide the necessary skills to independently maintain the RSAF F-15, at the Organizational Level of maintenance.
We are expanding this to include Back Shop.
Specialty Summary: Supervises receipt, identification, inspection, storage, reconditioning, issuing, delivery, maintenance and assembly of aerospace munitions; local disposal of non-hazardous ammunition where authorized; and the handling and transportation of weapons in compliance with existing safety directives and operating procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Plans And Schedules Munitions Systems Activities:
- Plans workloads and schedules work assignments of aerospace munitions activities.
- Improves work methods and establishes procedures to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Provides for and controls use of space, equipment and materials.
- Establishes work standards and priorities.
• Supervises Munitions Systems Personnel:
- Supervises receipt, identification, inspection and storage of aerospace munitions, assembly and issue of aerospace munitions and decontamination agents.
- Disposes of non-hazardous ammunition locally when authorized.
- Performs maintenance and reconditioning of aerospace munitions and handling equipment.
- Preloads rocket and flare launchers or dispensers.
- Preloads bombs, rockets, mines, launchers and dispensers on multiple and triple ejection racks using a preload station/stand.
• Conducts Training:
- Determines individual and group needs for training.
• Implements OJT to include development of Job proficiency Guides (JPGs), correct use of training forms, procedures and record keeping.
• Indoctrinates newly assigned personnel in local operating procedures, methods and regulations.
• Evaluates adequacy of OJT and recommends formal training for selected individuals.
- Establishes training programs.
- Maintains follow-up to ensure adequacy and effectiveness of training.
- Conducts group training in safety procedures techniques.
• Inspects and Evaluates Munitions Systems Activities:
- Inspects aerospace munitions activities to determine compliance with polices and regulations.
- Checks for proper maintenance of equipment, storage and use of supplies and materials.
- Inspects for compliance with explosive and ground safety directives, fire regulations and applicable chemical safety rules and directives.
• Performs Technical Munitions Systems Functions:
- Receives, identifies and stores aerospace munitions and maintains and reconditions aerospace munitions and handling equipment.
• Knowledge of composition of aerospace munitions and munitions safety is mandatory.
• Knowledge of basic electricity and basic characteristics and storage requirements for munitions is desirable.
• Knowledge of decontamination agents is mandatory when assigned to chemical duties.
USAF/RSAF or equivalent technical training courses.
5-8 years experience in the career field.
• Completion of a basic munitions course is mandatory.
• Physical profile of S-1 with no record of emotional instability is mandatory.
• Normal color vision is mandatory.
• Normal depth perception is mandatory.
