Description:
Alsalam Aircraft Company - currently has a contract with the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) to provide F-15 support. We provide Technical Support to all bases. Our task is to train, assist, and actively advise the RSAF in the accomplishment of Organizational and Intermediate Level maintenance. This training is accomplished using a combination of English language training (basic and technical terminology), formal classroom instruction and Structured On-The-Job-Training. The objective of training is to provide the necessary skills to independently maintain the RSAF F-15, at the Organizational Level of maintenance.
We are expanding this to include Back Shop.
Duties:
SPECIALTY SUMMARY: Analyzes malfunctions and inspects, installs, maintains and troubleshoots integrated avionic attack control systems at the organizational level.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Identifies And Isolates Malfunctions Of Integrated Avionic Control Systems:
- Operates integrated avionic attack control systems by using proper controls to determine operational condition.
- Interprets pertinent data, cathode ray tube displays and equipment operation characteristics to isolate malfunctions to subsystems such as the Doppler radar system, missile control system, electromechanical and electro-optical sighting systems, navigation systems and multi-sensor displays.
- Traces data flow and wiring diagrams using appropriate built-in test equipment, applicable electronic measuring equipment, support Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) and applicable hand tools.
• Removes, Aligns, Installs, Boresights and Conducts Check Outs of Integrated Avionic Attack Control Systems:
- Removes faulty units, installs serviceable line replaceable units into aircraft and performs system test.
- Bore sights systems.
- Maintains and services systems pressurization units.
- Performs organizational maintenance level modifications.
• Maintains Inspection and Maintenance Records:
- Posts entries on maintenance and inspection records.
- Records meter readings and other pertinent data in equipment performance data collection forms.
- Recommends methods to improve equipment performance and maintenance procedures.
• Supervises Integrated Avionic Attack Control Systems Personnel:
- Assigns operation and maintenance functions to subordinates and ensures that established priorities for work accomplishment are complied with F-15 SOW Contractor Trainers
- Reviews performance of integrated avionic attack control systems personnel for compliance with operational policies, preventive maintenance directives, safety directives and technical publications.
- Conducts on-the-job training.
• Implements OJT to include development of Job proficiency Guides (JPGs), correct use of training forms, procedures and record keeping.
• Indoctrinates newly assigned personnel in local operating procedures, methods and regulations.
• Evaluates adequacy of OJT and recommends formal training for selected individuals.
Qualifications:
Knowledge:
• Knowledge of concepts and application of RSAFM 66 series and supporting publications; theory and application of electronic, microelectronic, and mechanical principles; theory and application gyros, synchronic, indicators, and ratio transformers; theory of ballistics; working principles of electromechanical and electro- optical devices; factors involved in transmission and reception within the radio and radar frequency ranges, subsystems such as integrated instrument systems, flight data recorder systems, automatic flight control systems and navigation, international external countermeasure, weapons and missile control; digital computer logic, use, care and interpretation of testing and measuring devices is mandatory.
• Knowledge of general functions of associated systems such as aircraft electrical system is desirable.
Education: USAF/RSAF or equivalent technical training courses.
Experience: 5-8 years experience in the career field.
Training:
• Completion of a basic integrated avionic attack control systems course is mandatory.
• Completion of an advanced integrated avionic attack control systems course is desirable.
Other:
• Normal color vision is mandatory.
• The security clearance prescribed by the current RSAF directives is mandatory.
