Alsalam Aircraft Company - currently has a contract with the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) to provide F-15 support. We provide Technical Support to all bases. Our task is to train, assist, and actively advise the RSAF in the accomplishment of Organizational and Intermediate Level maintenance. This training is accomplished using a combination of English language training (basic and technical terminology), formal classroom instruction and Structured On-The-Job-Training. The objective of training is to provide the necessary skills to independently maintain the RSAF F-15, at the Organizational Level of maintenance.
We are expanding this to include Back Shop.
Specialty Summary:
Advises on the overall supply status; establishes local procedures; maintains liaison with supply and maintenance; coordinates on establishment of bench stocks, supply points and special levels; verifies NORS requisitions and status of NORS items; ensures expeditious routing of repairable items; coordinates with supply to ensure designated priority requirements, time change items, and TCTO parts and kits are delivered to maintenance in a timely manner; maintains follow-up with supply on depot activities; operates one or more Repairable Processing Center; ensures each NORS item is accurately reported to supply; coordinates with Maintenance Training on training requirements; and supervises Material Control personnel.
Duties And Responsibility:
• Advises The Maintenance Control Superintendent On The Overall Supply Situation As It Affects Maintenance:
- Establishes local procedures for material requirements for maintenance.
- Maintains liaison with supply to ensure availability of adequate supplies to support maintenance requirements.
- Coordinates with supply on the establishment of bench stocks, supply points and special levels and adjustments of levels.
- Verifies NORS requisitions and maintains, through a follow-up system, an up-to-date status of each NORS times.
- Coordinates all Due-In From Maintenance (DIFM) matters with the Repair Cycle Unit of Base Supply.
- Manages the Production Scheduling Program to include assigning in shop priorities, controlling in shop work and scheduling commodity of Time Compliance Technical Orders.
- Recommends cannibalization when such action is deemed to be in the best interest of the maintenance effort.
- Manages the Local Manufacture Program approved items.
- Coordinates with supply to ensure that each NORS item is accurately reported to Supply.
- Coordinates with Maintenance Training for training maintenance personnel in necessary supply procedures.
• Supervises Material Control Personnel:
- Assigns personnel to work positions, establishes work priorities and inspects completed work for accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
- Supervises operation of NORS verifications and turn-in of serviceable, condemned and not-repairable-this-station components from maintenance to supply (DIFM).
- Conducts and supervises on-the-job training.
• Implements OJT to include development of Job proficiency Guides (JPGs), correct use of training forms, procedures and record keeping.
• Indoctrinates newly assigned personnel in local operating procedures, methods and regulations.
• Evaluates adequacy of OJT and recommends formal training for selected individuals.
Knowledge of basic mathematics; Base Supply policies and procedures, concepts and application of RSAFM 66 series and supporting publications and principles which apply for liaison between maintenance activities and supply is mandatory.
USAF/RSAF or equivalent technical training courses.
5-8 years experience in the career field.
Completion of a Material Control specialist course is mandatory.
Normal color vision is mandatory.
