Description:
Alsalam Aircraft Company - currently has a contract with the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) to provide C-130 support. We provide Technical Support to all bases. Our task is to train, assist, and actively advise the RSAF in the accomplishment of Organizational and Intermediate Level maintenance. This training is accomplished using a combination of English language training (basic and technical terminology), formal classroom instruction and Structured On-The-Job-Training. The objective of training is to provide the necessary skills to independently maintain the RSAF C-130 at the Organizational Level of maintenance.
We are expanding this to include Back Shop.
Duties:
Responsibilities And Current Duties:
• Principal advisor to the Fire Squadron Commander on all Fire Protection issues.
• Develops and study polices, procedures and other technical aspects and determine the requirements of the fire fighting squadron.
• Undertakes field visits for base organizations to evaluate Fire Protection Programs.
• Providing the consultation services regarding base Fire Fighting vehicles, equipment, and fire fighting systems.
• Providing recommendations regarding standards of performance for base personnel, vehicles, and equipment used for fighting fires,
• Analyzes and evaluates fire incidents and provides recommendations regarding fire protection procedures.
• Participates in the investigation of the fire accident as required.
• Provides assistance in developing a training program for base Fire Protection programs.
Qualifications:
Experience and Education:
• Four-year University degree in Fire Science or a related field. Preferably in Preventive Engineering and Fire-Fighting. Minimum educational requirements are an Associates Degree in Fire Science
• Minimum 15-years experience in the fire protection field
• Minimum 5-years experience as a Fire Chief, Deputy Chief or in a Headquarters position.
• Minimum 10 years USAF or RSAF Military Fire Fighting experience.
• Must have excellent communication skills to include reading, writing and speaking English. Working knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
• Must be certified as at least a Fire Officer III by the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC).
